ENROLMENT AND START OF TERM

Wednesday 1 September 12 noon: Returning second years with an E grade in a subject and are requesting to continue (you need to collect your learning agreement from the Skills Improvement Centre at 12 noon).

Wednesday 1 September 2pm: Returning second years who have not yet re-enrolled (and including those students who gained a U grade in a subject and have applied for a reference request).

Thursday/Friday 2 and 3 September (as notified): New student enrolment and any returners on new level 3 courses not yet re-enrolled.

Normal buses are running plus extra bus in from:

     Caister Post Office (12:15 Thursday)

     Lowestoft via Yarmouth Road (12:15 Friday)

Some extra buses will run home at 12:45 (details available at enrolment) to Stalham, Happisburgh, Martham, Beccles and Carlton Colville on Thursday, and Loddon, Alpington, Ditchingham, Lowestoft, Acle and Lingwood on Friday.

Monday 6 September: Late Applicants 9am (as notified).

Thursday 9 September: Level 2 and Level 3 First Year Students start 9am.

Friday 10 September: Level 3 Second Year Students start 9am.

East Norfolk Sixth Form College in Gorleston, Norfolk has an excellent reputation for high quality post 16 education. It has featured in the top 20 of all colleges for the average A level points score per student for every one of the last 10 years.

 

We are the largest sixth form college in the county and so we can offer over 60 A Level, GCSE and BTEC courses. From September 2010 the IB, International Baccalaureate, is also offered.

 

We are also the East of England's Champion College for competitive sport for 2007, 2008 and 2009.

 

This term we have been named as BBC East's "Sports School of the Year" and our English Department have been honoured as founder members of the Prince of Wales' Teaching Institute.

 

The closing date for applications was 8th March 2010. Any applications after this date will be considered in line with the College's waiting list policy.

Students at our partner schools apply through their schools and other students apply directly. Application forms can be downloaded from this website (via the "Apply Now" link).

 

Ski 2011: After the huge success of this year's trip to Austria, the college is running another one during February half-term 2011. All students who will be enrolled on a course at the college from Sept 2010 are welcome to come along. It doesn't matter if you're an expert skier or a complete beginner.
