Activities - sport, trips, performances
Many students are involved in field work and trips. Some of these include: the Art & French trip to Paris, the History & German trip, the February half term Ski trip, Stretch & Challenge events and concerts and plays. You can get involved in lots of sports and activities including: sports teams, the fitness centre, lunchtime competitions and after College clubs. There are also opportunities for art students to exhibit work in public spaces. You might want to represent the College in sports. We have won national honours, we have been the top sports college in Norfolk and Suffolk for over a decade and East of England Sports Champions for the past five years.

College Life
College is a pivotal time in a teenager’s life. It’s about falling in love with learning, and deciding what you want to do with your life. It’s the time to choose who you want to be and where you want to go. It’s a whirlwind of tough decisions and the beginning of freedom. EN college life is vibrant, stimulating and welcoming. We have an active Student Association and there is always something going on to get involved with.

There are over 350 colleges in the UK and for the last 12 years we have been in the top 20. Our A level pass rate is 99% and for BTECs we rated ‘best in the country’. Some 275 students gained the equivalent of three A levels this year. We are also the top college in the East of England for value added. (Value added measures the amount of progress a student makes based on their GCSE entry grades.) Over 400 of our students went to 95 universities to study in 113 different degree areas this year.

Great Support - UCAS, careers, tutorial
All students have a tutor who normally teaches them. We provide careers advice, additional learning support, a counselling service and a student welfare service. Subsidised or free transport is available for everyone travelling over three miles. Books and exam entries are free. A discretionary support fund is also available. We also provide Foundation Scholarships. These are awarded to the top performing student in each 11-16 school. Additional awards are available based on GCSE scores.
