Norfolk Students:

In 2011/12 travel to college is FREE or subsidised for all students living more than three miles from College.

Apply to Education Transport for a bus pass. You can apply online at www.norfolk.gov.uk/post16transport.

It is FREE if you are in receipt of income-based benefits (provided you send the appropriate evidence to County with your bus pass application form). Otherwise you will be invoiced £196 by the County and we pay the rest of the charges.

Suffolk Buses

In 2011/12 travel to College is FREE or subsidised for all Suffolk students.

For students from families on income-based benefit (e.g. in receipt of Income Support or Jobseekers' Allowance), it is FREE provided you fill in a Discretionary Fund form and return it to the College with appropriate evidence.

For other students there is a charge of £225 for the whole year and we pay the rest of the charges.

Suffolk students get their transport costs subsidised by the County by filling in the travel form available from Education Transport at County Hall in Ipswich on 0845 606 6173.
